Harald Neidhardt

Harald is the CEO and curator of MLOVE – an innovation agency & organizer of global event series for innovators with a passion for the Future of Mobility and exponential technologies. Since 2010, the events are held in Berlin and Silicon Valley, with meetups in cities like Tokyo, Singapore, London & San Francisco. He was credited as a “benign curator” by TechCrunch for MLOVE ConFestival, the “Best event in Mobile” according to WIRED.

MLOVE operates the Future City Campus – a co-working space in Hamburg, featuring a smart city showroom with pilot projects supported by Cisco and the City of Hamburg. MLOVE recently co-developed with Cisco and other partners the Refugee First Response Center (, a medical first aid clinic in a container with 50+ languages translated via live video interpreters based on Cisco technology and covered in Financial Times, Bloomberg, Spiegel, etc.

In his former position as CMO and Co-founder at Smaato Inc., Harald was instrumental in conceiving the mobile advertising platform SOMA. He was in charge of international corporate development and marketing, driving the growth of what is now the leading real-time bidding (RTB) mobile advertising exchange based in San Francisco, California and offices in Singapore, New York & Hamburg. Smaato is serving more than 1 Billion mobile users & 300+ bn impressions per month. Award-winning Smaato is being acquired for $150 million by a Chinese media group.

During this time he was an active member of the Mobile Marketing Association in North America, the German BVDW and he was Vice-Chair of the MMA chapter in Germany.

Labeled a “pioneer in virtual worlds” by Forbes magazine, Harald Neidhardt has successfully managed interactive agencies in Europe and the U.S. since 1993.

Mr. Neidhardt holds a degree in marketing from the Communications Academy in Hamburg, Germany and attended Singularity University. He has authored a book on “Lifestyle of Mobility” and an early compilation of computer art.
