Jared Goralnick leads the mobile product group at Skype for Business. Prior to joining Microsoft, he founded and served as CEO of AwayFind for 5 years. Prior to that, Mr. Goralnick founded SET Consulting and served as President for 8 years. In 2014, he completed an Innovation Fellowship with the Department of Health and Human Services, where he worked on the vision for a 130,000+ person transition of UC and email to the cloud.
Mr. Goralnick has founded several community programs such as Bootstrap Maryland and Ignite DC, and co-founded and hosted the largest conference that discusses the future of email, Inbox Love. For 5 years he served as the EVP of the Information Overload Research Group, and hosted the annual Overloaded Conference through 2014. He is an active Mentor at Founder Institute and has served as a Mentor for 500 Startups, NXTP Labs, and Parisoma.
Mr. Goralnick is a highly sought after speaker, participating at events like Le Web, Web 2.0 Expo, eComm, SXSW, and also delivering a popular Google Talk on productivity. Some of his former clients include NTT/DoCoMo, HP, SAE, the FBI, and LinkedIn. He has written for publications like Lifehacker, WebWorkerDaily, and Ars Technica.
Mr. Goralnick holds degrees in Software Engineering and Philosophy, and resides in San Francisco.
